Lupo Scissors are hand-made from Japanese 440C stainless steel, built exclusively for the Canadian grooming market. 440C is the industry's workhorse alloy — hard enough to hold a convex edge through heavy use, soft enough to re-sharpen cleanly for years of service. The offset handle positions your thumb and fingers in a natural grip, which matters when you're on your eighth dog of the day.
Which size is right for you?
The 7" is the detail curve — built for head work, faces, topknots, and shaping on small-to-medium breeds. The shorter blade lets you follow tight contours without overshooting, which is exactly what you want when you're rounding a Bichon head or finishing a Shih Tzu topknot.
The 8" is the body curve — built for legs, skirts, tail feathering, and full-body shaping on medium-to-large dogs. The extra inch covers more coat per stroke on long blade passes and gives you a longer arc to work with when sculpting leg columns or rounding a Poodle's rear. If you do a lot of breed-pattern work or scissor-finished styling, this is the one you'll reach for.
