The slicker runs ~1" flexible pins set at a 45° angle on a 3.74" head — long enough to reach undercoat on dense doubles and doodle coats, flexible enough to glide through curl without scraping skin. The contoured handle keeps the wrist neutral over back-to-back grooms. The combination comb gives you coarse teeth on one half for opening the coat and loosening tangles, fine teeth on the other for finishing and checking the coat is through to the skin — the standard two-stage check after slicker or dryer work.
