After using this product for over 20 years, we recommend using it as follows:

• Before the bath: if you are doing any brushing, combing or dematting before the bath, spray this on first and use it as your detangling and hydrating spray
• After the bath: after towel drying, spray this all over the coat to speed up drying time
• Brushing out: if you still have tangles after the dog is dry, spray this on the coat to help easily break up tangles.
